What is Twitter?

Twitter has 200 million active users as of February 2013. It is the second largest social network next to Facebook. It was formed in 2006 and is exceedingly popular through 2013-2014.

Yahoo is the 2nd largest search engine in the world, and the 4th most popular website in the world. It ranges from the popular search engine, to Yahoo Weather which powers The Weather Channel. Jerry Chang, the second original founder of Yahoo has made Yahoo amazingly popular.

Yahoo Search (powered by Bing) is a large worldwide search engine that has one factor for better search results, Google (previously on Website Weekly)

Yahoo Weather is the largest weather station in the country (powering The Weather Channel) and runs the Weather Widget on Apple devices.

Flickr

Flickr is a Yahoo service that is very similar to Instagram. It is the 65th most popular website in the world and is a photo sharing business online.

Google.com Story

The story of Google is entertaining to those who are technology followers. Google.com started out by a small group of people who where not, yes NOT familiar with HTML. There homepage was  simple with a slight tweak to the current Google.

Google Gains YouTube and Blogger

Google was starting to get extremely popular as a search engine and decided to expand their business. A few years into Google, YouTube had been formed by PayPal workers. Google bought that company and made it come to extreme popularity, becoming the 3rd most popular website in the world. Blogger, on the other hand, had formed a few years before YouTube. A few years in, Google bought Blogger and turned it upside down, becoming the 15th most popular website in the world.

Gmail

Google founded Gmail, an online Email service. It later went on to be the most popular email in the world, having great email service. Comparisons to Yahoo and Outlook are available, but Gmail still beat Yahoo Mail and Outlook* combined.
